Dermal Fillers Treatments for Anti-Ageing at Contour Couture
At Contour Couture we focus on dermal filler treatments to the lower part of the face where we reverse the signs of ageing by applying natural dermal fillers to areas such the nasolabial folds, marionette and perioral lines (smokers lines).
We also provide dermal filler treatments to your tear troughs to remove the dark bags underneath your eyes.
At Contour Couture we find customers come to us for natural, non-permanent dermal filler treatments, to fix a variety of facial concerns. If it's your first time or you're looking for a change of practitioner, we are confident you have come to the right place. We offer a service second to none and our results speak for themselves.
Marionette lines are the pronounced crease that runs from the corners of the mouth to down along the chin. Unfortunately, as you age, these can become more pronounced. At Contour Couture we are able to use a natural filler to smooth them out to give a more youthful look.
Deep perioral lines are quite a common problem, especially as we age. This is due to the fact that as we age, the white lip (the long part of the lip) starts to get longer and the pink of the lip starts to turn in. This causes the skin itself to become thin and the underlying support from the bones and the teeth is not as effective and causes the lines to appear in this area.
Nasolabial folds are sometimes referred to as smile or laugh lines. They are best described as the two skin folds on the side of the nose and corner of the mouth. They help make the cheek and upper lip distinctive by separating the two. As a person ages, the fold becomes more pronounced. Contour Couture are able to use natural filler to smooth out the wrinkles in the nasolobial fold area of the face which provides a more youthful look and lift in personal confidence.
Profhilo delivers great results as a treatment on its own or in combination with other aesthetic treatments currently on offer. It rejuvenates the skin on the face, neck, chest and hands giving a more youthful appearance and provides a noticeable improvement in skin tone, hydration as well as firmness and reduction in the appearance of lines.. The effects of Profhilo are subtle but undeniable. You will see a difference after the first treatment with skin looking brighter and smoother. As time goes on these effects are enhanced and can last up to six months, depending on the individual patient.
Adding volume to the cheeks can give both a chiseled or anti ageing effect depending on the placement. Cheek contouring on the cheek bone gives a beautiful striking effect which provides high cheek bones and angular structure.
Equally to mitigate an ageing look filler can be placed in the cheeks to restore youthful fullness to the face. In addition this placement also pulls up the face reducing nasolabial folds.
If you are suffering with dark circles (bags) under your eyes, whether they are in hollows or even raised, we can use dermal fillers to remove these restoring lighter smoother skin. It is important to note, to get this effect, we may need to treat you in 2 sessions and due to the sensitivity of the area, there is potential for bruising after the treatment so it maybe sensible to ensure you have no key events post treatment.

Frequently asked questions
How old do you have to be to get filler at Contour Couture?
We have a strict policy of 18+. We don’t accept anyone under the age of 18. We may ask for your I.D upon treatment. We are often asked if we can do filler with parental consent, we DON’T do this
Does getting filler hurt?
How long does filler last – I’ve heard it’s 6-9 months?
What’s the best filler?
That’s really a very difficult question to answer – we use different types of filler for different treatments because they are better than others for a particular treatment. There are a lot of new fillers popping up in the market place at the moment. We just wouldn’t go near these because they haven’t managed the test of time – I’m sure some will be very good but it is always concerning when the cost of the filler is almost half of the known highly reputable companies. We only use filler that has been around for a long time and has the reputation of being an excellent brand. Typically our choices are Intraline, Revolax, Juvederm & Teosyal. That’s not to say there aren’t other great fillers but these are the ones we trust.
What happens if I really don’t like the look?
Always ensure you are getting non-permanent fillers for your lips – they naturally degrade over time but also, if you are extremely unhappy, you can get them dissolved so the filler is removed completely – not all practitioners are qualified to do this so it’s another important check when you’re choosing someone as a just in case scenario.
What’s the difference between a needle and a canula?
A canula is a blunt ended needle, it’s the safest way for a non-surgical procedure. It enters the skin by a simple puncture made by the needle. This will give little bruising and swelling. A needle has a sharper end and is used for lips to get you that perfect pout.
Do you use a Needle or Canula?
We use both a needle and a canula. The Canula is used for most of our treatments apart from lips. Lips require more precision which is why we use a needle. Some areas will require a needle and canula work but this will be discussed before your treatment takes place. Tear Trough is only used with a canula to get the best results.
What can go wrong?
How do you spot a newbie filler practitioner?
Why should I pay more when I can see there's someone much cheaper down the road?
Why is tear trough filler so much more for 1ml?
There are a few reasons for this. Firstly, the treatment is done over 2 appointments. The tear trough area is very sensitive and you have to ensure you don't overfill the area so it is important to be extra cautious on the first appointment and err on the side od caution. It is also an extremely advanced technique and requires specialist training to carry out the treatment and finally, you need to use a specialist filler that is specific to this treatment which is more expensive.
Who’s Profhilo for?
Profhilo sits firmly in our anti-ageing treatments and can help anyone who shows signs of skin ageing. Sadly, for most of us, we start losing a significant amount of collagen, elastin and Hyaluronic Acid after we reach 30, which means we start to see the signs of ageing in the form of fine lines, wrinkles and slightly lack-lustre skin. So, at Contour Couture, we can use Profhilo to rejuvenate the face, chest, neck and hands to provide a noticeable improvement in skin tone, hydration as well as firmness and reduction in the appearance of lines.
What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an anti-ageing treatment made from Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is best used for ‘filler’ and is usually used to give volume to enhance specific areas of the face (e.g. lips, cheeks, jawline & chin). Profhilo is different to these treatments as it is primarily a hydrating treatment, and the Hyaluronic Acid it contains is dispersed evenly throughout the face, chest, neck or hands giving your skin a plumper and firmer look overall. Whilst traditional fillers are a medium to thick gel-like substance, Profhilo is more ‘watery’ in its consistency so rather than filling a specific area it distributes to give an even and all-over lift, which is why it is called a bio re-modeller.
What is Profhilo like?
Profhilo is injected just under the skin using very fine needles in pre-determined points on the face, or across neck bangs and creases in the chest and hands. It is relatively painless; the treatment itself is very quick, taking only about 10 minutes.
What results can I expect from Profhilo at Contour Couture?
We recommend that for the best results you book two treatments, one month apart. A further session may be recommended after approximately six months in order to prolong the effect. Some people may see the results within first week, but the best outcomes of the treatment will be visible 4 weeks after the second treatment. Profhilo can be used on its own or in conjunction with other fillers, it is complementary, rather than a competitive treatment.

Is Profhilo worth it?
Profhilo delivers great results as a treatment on its own or in combination with other aesthetic treatments currently on offer. The effects of Profhilo are subtle but undeniable. You will see a difference after the first treatment with skin looking brighter and smoother. As time goes on these effects are enhanced and can last up to six months, depending on the individual patient.
What are dermal fillers?
What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic Acid (which you might find hiding on the labels of some of your skincare products as HA), is naturally occurring in the human body. The substance works as a magnet for moisture, helping your cells retain as much of it as possible so that your skin feels and appears hydrated, plump and healthy.
How do Dermal Fillers work?
Dermal fillers work by boosting the skin’s supply of hyaluronic acid; dermal fillers revitalise and add volume to the skin, instantly diminishing the appearance of lines and wrinkles, and giving a natural softer look. They can address a number of common concerns including smoothing of deep under-eye circles, lifting of cheekbones, plumping of the lips, smoothing of lip lines and nasolabial folds (the creases that run from the side of the nose to the corners of the mouth), and rejuvenation of the hands. Typically, Dermal filler injections provide instant results and can last for around 6 to 9 months. Dermal filler injections can give a natural-looking result that does not affect facial expression. As your face changes over time, dermal fillers allow you to control you looks subtly as you age.
Can you use Profhilo on your hands?
Hands are a dead give away for ageing - you can have the most beautiful and youthful face but your hands let you down. Fortunately, Profhilo, is very popular and really effective at smoothing out the skin on the back of your hands and make them look more youthful.
