What is HydrO2 facial?
HydrO2 facial combines the benefits of two of the most sought- after facials on the UK market along with five additional technologies to give you glowing, brighter, more youthful looking skin. The technologies found in the HydrO2 facial system include Hydro Peel, Exfoliation, Oxygenation, Electro-ion, Radio Frequency, Ultrasound and Fire and Ice. These technologies can be used individually or in combination with each other to provide a completely bespoke approach to targeting your concerns.
The 7-step process
Step 1
Hydro Peel/Deep Cleanse: uses a combination of three solutions to cleanse and smooth the skin using an AHA based solution. It hydrates and nourishes the skin using an RH-Oligopeptide-1 and Acetyl Hexapeptide base. Bacteria and inflamed skin is improved using a BHA based solution.
Step 2
Exfoliation/Oxygenation: creates ‘the Bohr effect’, allowing oxygen to be drawn into the skin. The active ingredients used are Kojic Acid and Retinol which result in a hydrating and brightening effect.

Oxygenation: this spray creates a venturi effect, breaking down the molecules within the product to encourage skin hydration.

Electro Ion – Skin Lifting: this treatment uses electroporation to increase the absorbency of the cell for product penetration. This, in turn, revitalises and ‘wakes up’ dull and lifeless skin.

Skin Tightening: Radio Frequency technology is used to increase collagen reproduction in mature skin. Skin Tightening is ideal for incorporating into an anti-ageing facial.

Hydration: Ultrasound technology is used for product infusion. This treatment can be used, for anti-ageing and hydration around areas where fine lines and wrinkles are likely to appear.

Fire and Ice: the ‘fire’ represents the heat element during treatment. Using this applicator, heat is incorporated into the beginning of the facial protocol to open the pores, increase blood supply, and aid product infusion. The ‘Cryo facial’ uses cooling technology, chilling the skin down to 5 ÌŠC. This is used at the end of each facial to decrease the blood supply, giving a tightening effect and sealing in the infused products. This also helps to reduce any erythema following treatment.
Is this the same as Hydrafacial?
“HydrO2 facial is a different platform but delivers the same treatment as Hydrafacial with additional benefits. Hydrafacial does not provide Electro Ion, Radio Frequency, Ultrasound and Fire & Ice whereas HydrO2 does. This means you get significantly more benefit from HydrO2 without the compromise of more cost.

Am I a suitable candidate?
Yes! As long as you are over the age of 18 and don’t have any of our medical contra-indication, you are suitable to have this treatment. This is because our technologies allow us to customise the treatment to suit your skin type and concerns

What will I feel during the treatment?
During this treatment, you will experience varying sensations depending on the technologies that are used by your therapist. However, the overall feeling is very relaxing, cooling and completely pain-free. Our skin lifting technology may trigger slight twitching due to the muscle contractions caused by the treatment, but this is normal and does not cause any discomfort.

What results should I expect?
The results from this treatment will vary depending on which facial you choose. However, all of these facials result in a smooth, hydrated and glowing appearance. Our anti-ageing facials will also display a tightened finish to the skin while our congestion facial will help with skin texture and bacteria

How many treatments do you recommend?
We recommend a course of 6-8 weekly treatments with the results being visible following the second treatment. These will continue to improve throughout the duration of the course. We then recommend monthly treatments thereafter.

Is there any downtime after the treatment?
As these facials are completely non-surgical, there is no downtime from the treatments and you can continue with your day-to-day activities straight away.
